Property presentation

Image

You have just bought your dream home- but how long are you going to live there? What ever the length of time, start early to improve the look of it. One of the lessons of the downturn in property prices is that your house needs to stand out from the crowd. And you do not know what lies round the corner in the future.

So could your home look better as you arrive at it? The drive, the garden -its lawn and flowers. What about planting some small trees but beware poplars and leylands for their roots and friction with the neighbours with that high dark hedge blocking out their sunlight. Could you improve the look of the garage, if there is one, or squeeze one in if there isn’t?

Inside your home the usual first instinct is to replace the kitchen and possibly bathroom. Will that add value to the property or is it a cost justified purely by pleasure? Decorating the walls can be a chore but take time to consider what you feel most comfortable with. Paint a board with different colours or cut strips of wallpaper draping curtain material close by. Do not be afraid to consult your local estate agent- they will be pleased to help and advise for free. You may sell in the future.

  • Can anyone give me the address of the most popular property auctioneering website in the Uk?

The site which has the most properties, both commercial and residential for sale and rent? Im doing a presentation next week on the advantages and disadvantages of online property sites
    http://www.eigroup.co.uk/
this is the best one, it covers all major property auctions in the UK commercial and domestic and has lots of different ways of searching, i used to work for an investor and we used this site all the time, you can even look at previous auctions and prices that properties went for to get an idea of the market.

    hope this helps.
  • what is the roman law of property?

Hi I've been asked to do a short presentation on the Ancient Roman laws of property, but I haven't got a clue! Help!
I've been asked to give quite a basic presentation on the property laws of ancient Rome. A two-minute summary type affair of classification of property, ownership and posession.

This is my first time using this site so please excuse me if my question could be better asked elsewhere!
    please be more specific;
Lex Iunia NorbanaIn Roman Law, Lex Iunia Norbana was law made to regulate "praetoric manumissions". Praetors gave protections to slaves freed by manumissio inter amicos and manumissio per epistulam, which were not as formal as the civil law states. By this law, slaves that were freed by those types of manumissions did not become Roman citizens, but rather so-called Latini iuniani, who lived as free men but died as slaves (this way they could not have free successors). When they died their property belonged to their patron.

Justinian made these manumissions a law, so slaves freed this way would stay free.
  • my material properties presentation?

im in college doing physics and i have to make a power point presentation about a cricket ball and its material properties. so far i have just wrote a load of poop and i was wondering if anyone has a good idea to put into the presntation eg. any specific equations about tensile strength or elasticity?
and any good links to websites will be apriciated :D
Here is a link to an excellent paper on the physical properties of
    a cricket ball:

And while you are at it, here is another paper on the physical

  • I'm doing a physics presentation on Tungsten Light Bulbs! I need some help please?

So I'm studying A Level physics, and I'm doing a presentation on a material. I need to include where is it used in life, and what properties make it good for that use. I chose Tungsten, in the context of light bulbs!

Could anyone please give me some things I could include in mt presentation, and useful websites I could use to make my presentation amazingly good?

Thank you! (Please include source of information) x
A couple of vaguely relevant thoughts:

The tungsten in light bulbs poses no special environmental threat on disposal of a failed bulb. This gives it an advantage over fluorescent tubes that contain highly toxic mercury.

Tungsten filaments convert some of the energy into heat rather than light. While some people see this as a weakness, it could be regarded as supplementing other heat sources since lighting tends to be used at times when other heat sources would also be used. Debates about energy efficiency of lighting tend to treat all heat as waste whereas this is untrue. Some tungsten reflector bulbs are used as a directed heat source in the catering industry.
  • PLEASE HELP!! I am doing a powerpoint presentation for the rock types, gabbro and kimberlite?

But unfortunately, I can't seem to find their properties. For example cleavage, colour, lustre etc. If you can have any idea please let me know. Thanks
Have you searched on Wikipedia -- search on it, you may get complete details, coming to presentation part try to use good Geology PowerPoint template which suits for presentation for this search on Indezine.com.

I found these links on Wikipedia and Indezine.com (Geology PowerPoint templates)

  • What is a consortium and how does one create one.?

I would like to form a consortium to purchase some property, how does someone go about it and what is involved? Is there a legal process and do I need to get it in print? Do I need to type everything and put it into a presentation pack?
A consortium is a combination, usually of financial institutions or investors. Just as you say, they work together on a financial deal of some sort. If I were you I would consult with a lawyer on how to proceed.
  • What chemical property/ ingredient(s) does normal mascara lack , which makes it not waterproof?

This is concerning basic chemical research about waterproof and non waterproof mascara for a presentation i will give.

I have found that the base ingredients in Water proof mascara are hydrocarbons like isoparaffin and isododecane, and waxes i.e non-polar organic compounds, which are insoluble in polar solvents like water- making it 'water proof'.

I have also found that non waterproof mascaras contain some of these waxes and polymers, yet its base ingredient is Water: Is it because the foundation of the formula is water, or what significant ingredient/ chemical property does it lack which makes it not waterproof?
The waxes and other base ingredients will enable the dyes to be dispersed and since there is no water, and the skin has oils, it is a case of likes dissolving likes, although in this case, likes attracting likes. The hydrocarbons you listed are going to be either long chain or higher molecular weight compounds, very non polar.

As far as the non-waterproof, it probably is a situation where the polymers used are different, shorter, and more amenable to water solubility, and since the skin has oils, and water is repelled by oils, it simply doesn't have the adherence to the skin that waterproof mascaras have.

Unfortunately, the world's leading expert on mascara running down one's face, Tammy Faye Baker, has died.
  • Music for my physics presentation?

So, I'm doing a physics presentation to my class on Tungsten, and how it's properties make it useful for light bulbs.

I'd like to have some background music, to make it that little bit more professional! I'm an A-Level student.

    Any suggestions please?! :D
you can try music stores and ask to look at what is available in their "sound effects" section
