Receiving a Better Mortgage Deal

Image

Loyal customers who have never missed a single mortgage repayment should be rewarded for keeping up their ongoing commitments. It would make a refreshing change if efficient homeowners who have lived within their means received a better deal or special offers from banks and mortgage brokers. Unfortunately, if you want something cheaper, you will have to hassle your finance provider. However, it can be achieved.

Demand a Better Deal

Get on the phone, call your lender, and tell the customer services you want a better mortgage deal, and an evaluation of how many years and how much you have left to pay, so you can shop around for the hundreds of other brokers who will assist you. If you are the valued customer you think you are, the lender will happily offer you the latest finance options available from their company.

Shop Around

If your current lender is holding out on your suggestion, you can search the internet, where there are thousands of companies to choose from. Because of the competitive nature of the finance market, you will almost certainly be able to find a lender offering better terms and conditions than your current mortgage. Be wary, because lenders will do almost anything to make their deals seem more attractive than your current one. Read the small print before galloping ahead with full steam.

Be Aware

When finding your perfect deal, be sure to navigate your way around the broker’s plan to sell you expensive add-ons, such as house insurance, life insurance, full contents insurance and loan protection cover. They charge expensive fees for some these run-of-the-mill services, so be sure to negotiate a reasonable price, because they will come down. Alternatively, you can go to an independent insurance company that will give you the best insurance deals, or a financial advisor who will wholeheartedly find you the best deal possible.

Saving and Gains

By bartering a better deal, you could cut your interest rates, lower your monthly installments, receive a lump sum of cash and save thousands of pounds on insurance covers. Use these savings and gains to repay more of your mortgage, and you will be on the path to free accommodation in the very near future. Basically, if your current provider will not reward your loyalty, another finance company out there will. Start searching today.

  • Any advice on purchasing a property to rent out in florida. I already had some advice but this is a huge leap?

I live in the uk and will have been to florida four times by feb 08. I love the place and also want to invest in a property to rent out. I thought that combinig the two, ie a place that i love and the desire to invest in a propery would be a good idea, also the statistics say that orlando is the tourist capital of the world, having some 42million visitors last year and still rising as they build more parks (Sea Worlds Aquatica and also Harry Potter world). The strong pound against the dollar and also the property market slump in prisec all seemed to add up to a good deal. I would not purchase the property with the dependancy that the rent would cover the mortgage. Any experience and advice would be gretaly received.
Try to search through this searching system www.zzzoff.com and it differs very much from Google and Yahoo. Our main difference is that the information is searched by PEOPLE, not by machines.
  • Can a full time mother without income receive legal aid to get a divorce?

Our daughter is a stay at home mum looking after her little boy of two.Her marriage has broken down due to irreconcilable differences. She has no income or savings and there is a mortgage(in her and her husbands name),plus debts. Her husband earns good money. They are still living in the house together, but apart.it is all very sad.Has anybody got any advice which could help.We ,the parents live abroad and have not got the finances to help a great deal.Any advice will be appreciated.
she is in for a long, hard road. she needs to leave the marital home to qualify for legal aid and other benefits, or try to get an occupational order to get her husband out of the home but still paying the mortgage.

i would recommend her moving out with the child, if she can afford to, but locally as she cannot leave the jurisdiction until decree absolute plus the child has a right to see his dad. she will qualify for housing benefit as long as she remains primary carer of the child but she will NOT qualify for council housing as long as she has an interest in the marital home, which is one way the system works against women who leave making it all the more difficult, and he can delay the process indefinitely making her incur worse debt. nor will lettings agents for private rentals take her on without a guarantor or 6 months advance rent plus deposit as she is umemployed, and many wont accept guarantors from abroad. just know that if she is receiving legal aid, solicitors 'work' very, very slowly - really they cannot do much at all until she gets public funding, which can take ages. meanwhile if he makes good money he can 'beat' her to the petition, he can hire a private solicitor to make her life h*ll, he can control the entire process. money is his greatest weapon here.

she needs to phone CSA asap and start a claim, they can take a few months to start collecting child maintenance from him, which he cannot get out of unless he gets residency, which is unlikely unless she's a heroin addict or something.

if you cant help her financially, just be there for her emotionally. if you are abroad, it must be terrible for her going through this alone.

finally, have no contact with the husband until all the dust settles, if even then, because once the s**t hits the fan, he could use anything and everything against her. and dont let him bait you. you didnt say anything about his behaviour, but if this is anything to do with abuse he may very well try.

If you want help with your CV go to your teacher and ask them to help you. I am sure they would be willing to help. And also if you finish school and go to college, you get help with CV and how to sell yourself. If you have older siblings, ask them, or even your parents for help as in one point of their lives they have had to do it too. Good luck x
