Garden Sheds & Dodgy Scrap Metal Oiks
It has been brought to my recant attention that the price for scrap metal is at a all time high.
Ok you may say what has that got to do with your property. The answer is simple.
If you have may be replaced your washing machine and it is sat outside it is an attraction to the not so nice Mr Scrap metal collector. I am informed that this type of oik dose not only knock on the door and ask if you have any scrap metal of anykind but it would seem he and his chums are checking the joint out.
They are looking to see if your garden sheds are unlocked and come back and help them selfs to what they can get a few quid for.
So why not take your own scrap and cash it in yourself and get a few quid and prevent these type of low life oiks from taking more than you want them to.
So make sure that your sheds are locked securely and nothing is on view otherwise they will have it.
It dose not need to be a large object for them to take they will take loads of bits and load there 11 plate ute up and cash in the stolen goods.
I do suggest that if you see anything dodgy then report it to the police they may be emptying your neighbors shed to make a few bent quid.
Hello bordercollie. I have also heard the same thing you are saying about these pikey type people. If they can take it in the back of there trucks they will take it just to make a couple of quid.
It must cost them more in fuel but in saying that the fuel is most likely nicked as well.
Well the squirrel is back with comments here and there.
They not get my stuff so easy I have a seperate area in my place and you would never know what is there plus they would have to get past the dogs first for whom would alert that someone strange is about.
