Local Constabulary is issuing a warning after some distraction thefts in the county.

by bordercollieHaving spoken to other home owners and tenants recantly it would seem that some complete idots are going round and claiming to be either lost or from the council.
They are distracting the home owners attention while there mate goes in and robs you blind and gets away with it.
So all us home owners, tenants, and no matter where you live we all need to be aware and safe guard our properties.
I would not be amazed if this was going off in other areas but do think we all need to take note of just who turns up at our door.

That is shocking news I read above.
What ever happend to good old honesty. There was a time people would come to your door and even just ask for directions or a jug of water if there car had over heated but no not no a days.
Someone comes to the door now you almost have to quiz the living day-lights out of them.

What is it coming to in this day and age. There seems to be more and more people who think they should have what you have worked for even if it i just a few quid you have on the side.
It is getting while you can not trut anyone. You almost need security cameras around you home inside and outside.
Well I hope the police catch up with them and chuck the key away.
