Holiday Lets For Christmas & New Year

bodgeitfornow's picture

A neighbor of mine rented a holiday let for the whole of Christmas and New Year. It worked out better than a hotel and was near a whole lot of his family and old friends.

I said what a good idea that was. You get to get away, have a good time and catch up with people you may not see for a long time.

His answer was yes you hit the nail on the head there. Thinks he may do the same again next year depending where he his working well where they send him to.

I wounder how many more people thought of this excellent idea.

Smile That is a good idea renting a holiday let over christmas and new year period.

Infact the more I think of it the more I like it as I know quite a few people in one area and if I rented one of those for say two weeks or something I could do a whole load of visiting and I think the odd journey means driving but I could get a taxi for that and not have to worry about having a drink as all I would need would be on the door step.

I shall now kick myself and say why did I not think of this before hand.

Smile Think I may have to look in to this idea of letting a holiday let for next christmas and new year.

Just need to find out the cost and choose a suitable area. Sounds like it has got a lot of plus sides to this most excellent idea.

Good on you mr bodge it for now for sharing this idea with everyone.

Tongue Think I may have to look in to this idea for next year. Urm it depends how much they are going to charge for a couple of weeks and if they will let me take the dogs.

Think I will have to give this some serious thought a bit closer the time.
