FINDING SOMEWHERE FOR MY PARK HOME

by clmcolesHi I am seriously considering buying a park home to live in I need to find a plot to put it on that takes pets and has wifi access. In the areas of West Sussex or Surrey can any body help me does any one know of any where and also who collects it from the seller and connects the plumbing and electrics correctly fits in in the plot securely? Does it have to be under 10 years old? to be accepted at a park or some land are their regulations on this? Thank you

We would like to home a hedgehog! - Help needed!?
My granny lives in the snowdonia national park in north wales and she lives there around 3/4 of the year if not all year. We were thinking it would be a nice place for a hedgehog to live, lots of brambles, trees, worms and slugs in her garden! Also she lives around a mile from the main road.
Firstly, would this be suitable for a hedgehog to live in?
Secondly can anyone help us find somewhere that re-homes/ adopts hedgehogs?

What I mean is if for some reason there are some wild hedgehogs in need of rehoming and needing to find a new habitat then we hope we could offer a suitable home for them.
Hedgehogs should not be eating slugs or snails - they get lungworm from them and die a very slow and painful death - like they've been smoking 50 cigarettes a day and their lungs close up so they can't breathe. Feed them on chicken, mince, chopped peanuts, chicken dog or cat food. And only water to drink as milk gives them raging trots and they cannot digest bread either, so none of that. Know what you are doing with them before you take them on. They would prefer just to be in the natural habitat with a food and water dish put out every night.Help! Been in my job 4 months now and fancy my boss an embarrassing amount. I'm 17 and he's in his early 40's, he has been flirting with me for the last few weeks. Let's look at your situation:
1. You want someone you can't have (much older, mature, taken, in power man). No doubt you are attracted to the guy.

I rented a property on the bottom floor of a home, in which the landlord lives as well, on the top floor. I am on a month to month rental which includes $1500 for the unit and
$250 for the garage and the parking space behind the garage. Now, the landlord has decided that she does not like the storage I keep inside the garage, instead of a car. She has asked me find a storage unit somewhere else. I cannot afford a storage unit and the cost of the garage. The landlord has also advised me that she wishes to have a termite fumigation, which will displace me for at least four days. In April, the landlords sewer overflowed into my bathroom. I had to keep the refuse at bay with my good towels until the plumber arrived. There was a dehumidifier in my home for four days to save the hardwood. Now the plumber has displaced me for another seven days due to a new pipe being placed under the ground. I had to move 1/2 of the storage and do not have a place to park. What should I do?
I would definitely look up a tenant/landlord company that works with advising you of your rights as a tenant. there should be a lot of information available online.
if not, call the police and ask what you can do about it and if it's legal what they're doing. ask if they can point you to any resources. it's best to not do anything until you are advised of your rights.
if you pay for the space in the garage, know that it's your right to put whatever you want in there, as you are renting the space. the landlord can't choose which furniture you put in your apartment, nor should she be allowed to tell you what else you can put in another space you rented.
i believe that you are right in this situation, but before you do anything, it's best to find out what your rights are. it should be called something along the lines of tenant act, agreement, etc. and may include landlord in there. not sure. look into it but don't do anything on your own. if you can't find any information about your rights, call the police (non emergency) and find out what you can do about it. what she is doing is immoral.
my experiences are if someone wants to dick you around and you don't have any written agreement saying anything else, then they pretty much can. this is my experience living in spain, which is entirely different than north america--i don't suggest anyone ever live anywhere as shady as madrid, spain--so you're probably in better luck as a canadian or american.

This is the opening chapter of a story i wrote recently...
Finn's Kingdom
Finn paused at the top of the ladder. He looked up at the sky. It was a pale blue, and the darker shapes of clouds crawled across the sky like slugs. Finn climbed up the ladder, through the broken skylight. He clambered up and walked along the cafe roof. He walked to the edge and sat down. He was about the height of a two-storey house. His legs dangled over the side. There wasn’t much on the roof. The top of the ladder poked through one of the six skylights. The other five were intact. There were a couple of cardboard boxes, filled with rubbish. Finn couldn’t see anyone. He was used to being alone now. Well, he could never say he was truly alone. The Creepers were out there. They always were. They never went away. Finn liked to watch them- as long as he was out of their way. He thought they were fascinating, yet he still hated them. He despised them more than anything left on Earth.
The roof was rough and dirty brown, flecked with moss and bird droppings. The cafe itself was in a bad way. The doors and windows were boarded up, and the outside walls were filthy were the Creepers had scrabbled at them. Finn stood up slowly. He scanned the theme park, the rides broken and useless, the shops abandoned and the whole place a mess. The roller coaster tracks looked like the skeletons of dinosaurs in the pale light. Finn loved this place; he always had, since he was a little kid. He remembered the days of setting off to Dewhurst Park early in the morning. Just him, his mum, his dad and maybe a friend. But now he loved it more than ever. It was his home. He’d lived in the cafe the past seven months.
He was at the park all those months ago when it started. Finn and his friend Dylan had come out of the park cinema one afternoon and found nothing but chaos. People dropping dead all over the place. Finn couldn’t find his parents anywhere. He and Dylan were terrified, as not only were people collapsing but they were... getting back up again. The dead, ambling around, attacking the panicking survivors. The people had split up, the mad rush of fearful humans trying to find somewhere safe. Finn and Dylan got separated. It was the last time Finn ever saw him.
Finn was used to the silence. It was better than the screaming and the shouting. He hadn’t really moved away from the cafe in all the seven months. He went out occasionally, but there was no real need to. There was a rope hanging down from the side of the roof for him to get back in when he did go out. The Creepers were too stupid and clumsy to climb it. The doors and windows had been blocked up by adults when the attack started. Finn himself was only 12 years old. He didn’t know any adults that were alive for sure.
Finn walked quietly across the roof. It was early, and he was tired. He hadn’t slept all that night. He couldn’t. Just the thought of all the Creepers lurking outside was enough. Most nights he lied on the...I confess I only read the first paragraph. It's very halty and chunky, you keep saying Flinn over and over again try working on your first person writing.On the internet, how should I phrase it to find listings of adult-only housing areas in NorthWest England?
I am getting on in years and while I am not ready for a retirement home yet, I want a quiet area where adults only live. It's not that I have anything against kids, but I don't have any and sometimes it is too much for me and my husband to have them hanging around our house all the time (we live on a corner and they tend to sit on the wall in front of our property). The noise they make is distracting to us and we have to constantly ask (nicely) for them to move on so we can have a bit of peace. I want us to live somewhere where kids might not be so abundant. But, as I said, I AM NOT YET OLD ENOUGH TO LIVE IN A RETIREMENT HOME/AREA so I can't move to one. I just want someplace quiet. And don't worry I don't and won't live near a school or park! There are just lots of young people and young people with kids in my neighborhood. I want older neighbors, not younger ones. How can I find such an area to live in? Please don't leave a mean or sarcastic answer. I really need some ideas. Thanks
Contact the local branch of a national chain of Estate Agents and ask them about Gated Communities.
The other choice is a mansion in the country / outskirts of a village. As a general rule, to escape from the kids, you have to move to somewhere that the parents can not afford or would not choose to go.
If you have £500,000 or more you should have no problem. Otherwise you will need to look in places where the local schools have been shut down due to falling demand etc.
When viewing properties, make sure you call in at the local newsagents and ask the staff about the local kids ...I really need help boyfriend?

I truly can feel your pain but at this moment you have to just give him the space he needs. If u truly love him and I know you do then losing you will hurt him more than anything that you can ever do but ull have to let him see that on his owe text him and say I will let you go then I'm always here for u if u need me ill check up on u from time to time and let months go by try to check on him.. if there's no response then leave it alone if ur meant to be it'll happen. Not sure about the plumbing and electrics etc but I have just done a search for park home sites in West Sussex and it came back with a few ideas with links and that was on this sites search engine.
I would try asking the seller of the park home and just say how do you go about getting it all plumbed in, may be the owner of the site may have a team of people who can do it. Certainly ask the seller as I am not entirely sure on that one.

Good points made by jamie. In a nut shell I would have said the same really. You could also try doing a search on this site and may be try different ways of wording the search to see what comes up.
Contacting the local council they may have lists of sites as I am sure they must be able to collect some form of council tax.

I should suggest that going direct to the local council to see what listings they have then at least you know you would have a genuine place to put the thing that is unless you wish to put it on your own land.
Urm yep the best answer seems to be ask the seller, the local council of the required area you wish to put the thing and then go for the in's and out's of it all.
You could also try doing a seach on this site and see what you come up with and if you can not find anything decant or of much use at all email this site on there contact address along with may be a link if you find something else where that it may be of use to others.
I found a link and I emailed it in to them and there team stuck it on there website, they were very good and even did suggest a couple of tips to try when seaching for various information.
