Just wondering does any know if I can just go out and buy a park home and stick down the garden. Well the Mrs wants to move her mother in but I said no we can stick her down the side of the garden out the way ( so to speak ) and I thought one of these things might be a good idea to get.
I don't even know if I need planning or anything but I have a massive garden. Can anyone help ?. thanks
That is interesting and funny. Put the mother inlaw at the bottom of the garden, I like that idea, thats a good one.
I think you may have to approach your loal council with the size of the thing and what you intend to do with it.
I feel certain you would have to peak to the planning department otherwise you may get in to all sorts of bother. Still all the same it is a good idea.
A park home in your garden. I am guessing you have a decant sized garden then.
Are you putting the Mrs down the garden then or is it the mother in law.
Well i would suggest you go to your local council. Tell them you want to put the mother in law next to the compost heap and that you want to know if you need planning consent and how do you go on about council tax etc.
I would suggest that you don't go and purchase it may be get some measurents then go to the council. This is something you need to get right before you buy to be on the safe side plus it will keep the council happy.
No doubt they will ask you about water, electric, sewerage and all that sort of stuff.

Good luck on that one.
